The six levels of the test are provided in partnership with Edexcel Limited, the largest UK awarding body for academic and vocational qualifications.<br \/>\nPearson Test of English General (<strong>PTE General<\/strong>) is designed to reward positive achievement in English language learning. <strong>PTE<\/strong> General integrates all four skills (Listening, Reading, Speaking and Writing) and focuses on assessing the ability of communicating in English, rather than test-taking skills. The tasks in the test are a natural continuation of what happens in the classroom, giving test takers the opportunity to perform at their best.<br \/>\n<strong>PTE<\/strong> General consists of two parts: a written paper and a spoken test. The written paper tests listening, reading comprehension and writing skills and is marked by external examiners in the UK. The spoken test is assessed by trained local examiners and is sent to the UK for moderation. There are six levels which are linked to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEF). All levels in the test are awarded by Edexcel and accredited by Ofqual in the UK. PTE General certificates do not expire. English language learners are encouraged to seek opportunities to practice the language and confirm their progress regularly.<\/p>\n<p><strong>PTE Young Learners<\/strong> provides fun English language assessment for students aged six to 13, delivered by EdExcel, the UK\u2019s largest examining body.<br \/>\nThere are four different levels of<strong> PTE<\/strong> Young Learners, to suit students from pre-A1 to A2 level on the Common European Framework of Reference.<br \/>\nThe tests assess a young learner\u2019s ability to use English language communicatively, with an emphasis on real-life scenarios rather than on knowledge of specific language items and vocabulary.<br \/>\nThe topics within<strong> PTE<\/strong> Young Learners are international, age-appropriate and interesting to children. For example, families, pets and school are all included.<br \/>\nAs the tests are scenario-based, topics and language are repeated. This reinforcement of content and language gives test takers the confidence they need to perform well.<br \/>\nAlthough the test is presented using British English, American English is also acceptable.<br \/>\nDetailed feedback is provided in the form of a candidate performance report, which includes a breakdown of the scores for listening, speaking, reading and writing. These are sent to the test centers who distribute them accordingly. The grades awarded for the test are Distinction, Merit or Pass. If test takers do not achieve a Pass grade, they receive a candidate performance report, but not a certificate.<\/p>\n<p><strong>PTE<\/strong> general is available in Armenia and you can take it in <strong>&#8220;English House&#8221;<\/strong> language centre as an international proof of your English skills!<\/p>\n<p><strong>The classes are held three times a week, each lasting 1.5 hours. The course duration is 2 months.
